(Yokomori Minako)
Born in Tokyo in 1949
Graduated from Kuwasawa Design School Fashion designer
He has been the chief designer of Bigi's DC brands "MELROSE", "HALF MOON" and "BAR BICHE".
2002 Total director of World Co., Ltd. "Smart Pink". In 2013, the "MINAKO ★ YOKO MORI" brand was launched on Jupiter Shop Channel Co., Ltd. He has written many books as a fashion advisor. Introducing familiar kimono techniques in NHK E-Tele "Meshimekimono" and "Tomorrow's Sunny! Life Recipe".
Minako Yokomori When she was 53 years old, she suddenly woke up to a kimono and mastered her own kimono path. As a result, she said, "Kimono is like clothes!" "I want to enjoy colors" and "It's cheap!" In this magazine, we have published the process and the know-how that we have independently researched.
Many of the kimonos that appear in this magazine are recycled and reused, and the price is one piece. Coordination is the basis of dressing that is not bound by existing rules. Free color play is important. Isn't the obi tied? Even the super easy dressing method is posted.
This magazine was published once by a certain publisher in December 2015. Despite the introduction of appearances on NHK (E-Tele) and events in rural areas, the content that we want to convey in this magazine cannot be fully permeated nationwide. On the other hand, in the world of kimono, the sales recession continues and the inheritance of traditional Japanese technology is in a critical situation, and "Tansuya", which has become an overwhelming presence in reused kimono, is a pioneer of the share economy. It has become a target. That's right! Behind many voices calling for the revival of this magazine was the existence of "reuse kimono." We will tell you the story of this magazine's rebirth, which has been revived even more attractively.
